Curriculum Vitae (short)

Present position from April 2001 onwards at the Erasmus University Rotterdam, Institute of Psychology, Department of Social Sciences. Until April 2001 at the Vrije Universiteit Amsterdam, Department of Psychology, as Assistant Professor in I/O Psychology, where I also received my Ph.D. in I/O Psychology.

Additionally, from January 2006 onwards, Professor of Work and Personnel Psychology in the domain of ethnicity, Free University Amsterdam (Bijzonder Hoogleraar Arbeids en Personeelspsychologie in het bijzonder gericht op allochtoon-etnische groepen)

Psychometric properties of the assessment center and situational judgment tests, entrepreneurship and personality, job search and applicant decision making, differential effects of selection and recruitment on male and female job searchers and applicants, the social relations model in work contexts, expatriate selection (research alone or in collaboration).
